Installation of an 8-person Marsh Ensign Sewage Treatment plant with pumped outlet to drainage field.

This was an interesting job because the water table was quite high and so the drainage field could not be positioned within the lower garden of the property. We therefore had to install a STP with an upgraded pump man enough to pump 45 metres uphill with a 2-metre incline. This allowed us to map out a drainage field in a top field above the property. We used a Marsh Ultra Ensign STP. The tank was installed in the front driveway of the property and pumped outlet using 32mm watermain. The STP was set in concrete and finished with type 1 stone. The drainage field was installed, and the top garden levelled out then seeded. All works were signed off by building control.
